Trauma-Informed Yoga therapy is for whole-body wellness and is a systematic science of rehabilitation that uses physical poses, breathing, meditation, and self-awareness to bring the body, mind, and breath into balance with the simultaneous awareness that much of the dysfunction in the body and mind is from previous unresolved stress and trauma. TIYT gets to the source of the dysfunction. Done in one-on-one sessions, each client is met where they are at, supported in their healing goals, and is given practices to do at home to empower and propel them on their path towards wellness and overcoming the effects of trauma. THE PRESENT MUSICIAN:THE FLOURISHING ARTIST

Cultivating the ability to be in the present moment is a strong foundation for living through life challenges and successes. To be fully present during the practice of the art of music, (performance is also practice), we can learn to become an instrument ourselves by training specifically as musicians to consciously surrender and allow a witnessing presence or even Awareness to move through us. This completes our work through our instrument as we witness this artful presence of intention and surrender as performance is created without effort. The greatest artists and performers often engage in this process without instruction or even though, and through these techniques, performers at any level can use the same process.. You will learn to work with and apply your own intentions to your instrumental practice, form a connection to Source according to your own traditions and beliefs, or you can learn to discover your own authentic spiritual connection to tune into during your practice. Musicians also gain rich and lasting benefits through learning to regulate their nervous system with diaphragmatic breathing, yoga postures, and Original Strength resets, experiencing how their mental state effects their posture and performance. Most of all, through learning to tune into and connect with their own essence, they learn to become a selfless instrument to express music.
